K1 Fragrant & Healthy Diet

Activity goals: To promote an understanding of green eating and cultivate healthy dietary habits in young children through a parent-child activity of making organic bread and soy milk together.
Activity introduction: Children will enjoy a hands-on experience making organic herb bread and soy milk. During the process, they will explore flour through sensory play, deepening their understanding of eco-friendly and healthy food choices.

K1 Visit to Tuen Mun Park Reptile House

Activity goals: To learn about the characteristics and habits of reptiles, explore nature through the senses, and foster an appreciative attitude toward the natural world.
Activity introduction: Through educational videos and interactive games during the guided tour, children will learn about the habitats and living habits of reptiles. Additionally, they will collect leaves to identify their unique features, helping to develop a deeper appreciation for nature.

K2 Visit to the Maritime Museum

Activity goals: To provide a firsthand experience of riding the Star Ferry, learn about boarding procedures and onboard equipment, and enhance awareness of marine environmental protection.
Activity introduction: Children will visit the Tsim Sha Tsui Star Ferry Pier to ride the iconic Star Ferry. During the trip, they will explore the evolution of vessels from ancient times to the present day.

K2 "Little Tree Doctor" Guided Tour

Activity goals: To learn how to observe tree growth and understand the common tree species in Hong Kong, as well as their uses and environmental value.
Activity introduction: Children will travel to Yuen Long Park to participate in the “Little Tree Doctor” guided tour. Led by an instructor, the children will “diagnose” trees by observing their growth conditions and using their senses to explore them. This activity aims to build a connection with nature and teach children to cherish forest resources.

K3 Visit to the Health Education Exhibition and Resource Centre

Activity goals: To provide children with an in-depth understanding of food safety and environmental hygiene.
Activity introduction: Through exploring the interactive exhibition halls, children will learn how food provides essential nutrition for the body and discover effective methods for maintaining personal and environmental hygiene. This experience aims to foster strong hygiene awareness and healthy daily habits.

K3 Visit Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden

Activity goals: To understand the interactive relationship between plants and animals and learn to respect life and the natural environment.
Activity introduction: Through guided plant tours, sensory exploration in the greenhouse, potted plant design, and herb planting, children will develop their awareness of the plant world. They will learn practical skills for planting and caring for herbs while cultivating the virtue of respecting nature.
